I knew from the time I was in high school in Georgia, and later Germany, that I wanted to work in education! This passion pushed me to travel to Reggio Emilia, Italy in college to study their approach to early childhood education and while getting my master’s I went to Nigeria to further deepen my understanding of education globally. My teaching career has been centered around supporting teachers and students to engage with technology as a tool for creation and global communication and collaboration. I have partnered with teachers at every grade level and also worked with students from Pre-K to university age.
I believe deeply in students constructing their own knowledge and engaging in passion-driven projects that allow them to work as makers, designers, and innovators to solve the problems facing our world today.
“I have the wonderful opportunity to work with Eduro to facilitate workshops and collaborate with the Eduro team. I am inspired by the depth and time Eduro puts into developing teacher-centered, meaningful professional learning experiences.”
