EDUCATIONAL CONSULTANT

Career Snapshot

It is hard to believe that nineteen years that I stepped into my first classroom and since I’ve loved having the opportunity to grow as an educator, both as a classroom teacher and as a curriculum developer. I came to realize from an early age, which was fortified by my experience in schools, that the most important work we do as educators are not only to foster curiosity, resilience, intellect, and empathy, but also to develop relationships that bond our community.

I serve as the Director of Information Support Services at The Blake School in Minneapolis, MN. My focus is designing blended learning experiences that are student-centered and personalized, which provide opportunities to reimagine the classroom. By taking a responsive project-based design approach to teaching and learning, students shine in and out of the classroom.

When not in the classroom or online, I adore spending time on bike trails, city lakes, climbing monkey bars with my son, Hugo (age 7) and walking our dog with my daughter, Olympia (age 3).
